Welcome to the web world of Roger Blonder.
I am an artist, writer, filmmaker, and educator. My short films and interactive projects have been exhibited in over 50 international film and media festivals and been honored with many awards. I received my MFA from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television in 1995 and have spent the last 30+ years working at the intersection of education and creative entrepreneurial production on projects integrating poetry, music, art, spirituality, mysticism, and the relationship between humans and the natural world.
I have taught animation and motion design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, Loyola Marymount University and, for the last 18 years, served as the Director of Media Arts at de Toledo High School in West Hills, CA. At the end of the 2023 school year I shifted my focus and effort to harvest and deliver the fruits of my life work to souls of reciprocal yearning.
Iām developing this web site to cultivate a channel of communication with those who appreciate my creative offerings. If you enjoy my work and believe in its potential to touch others I invite you to connect through Facebook, follow my writing on Medium or support me by purchasing a book or some artwork.
Thanks for your time and interest.
